The concept and difference of dip, coating, spray, plastic, and paint(2)
1.Spraying: It is also called thermosetting powder. It is a process of spraying polymer materials on the inner and outer surfaces of metal substrates by electrostatic spraying.
The principle is: use the principle of static electricity. The metal wire mesh object is energized. Then the metal wire mesh surface is sprayed with a spray gun. After the power is applied, the powder is adsorbed onto the surface of the metal wire mesh object. After the powder is evenly sprayed, the metal object is placed in the oven for heating and solidification. Generally, metal wire mesh objects should be zinc-phosphorized before spraying, but if this part is omitted in order to reduce the cost, the life of the coating will be greatly reduced, and it will generally age and begin to fall off in about 3 years.
Spraying is generally used in temporary products. The plastic layer is thinner than the dip coating process. The advantage is low cost and high speed. The spray powder mainly includes acrylic powder, polyester powder and the like. The spraying effect is superior to the painting process in terms of mechanical strength, adhesion, corrosion resistance, and aging resistance, and the cost is lower than that of painting.
Generally, PE (polyethylene) powder is dip-coated and plastic coated, and epoxy resin powder is generally coated.
2.Plastic coating: It is a surface treatment method for the raw material wire, which is a process of melting the solid plastic into a liquid plastic at a high temperature, placing the metal wire mesh, and taking it out after a period of time. The difference between the concept of plastic molding and dip is that the objects are different, the plastic coating is for the raw material wire, and the dip is for the finished product. The relationship between plastic molding and plastic coating concept, plastic molding (process) is a kind of plastic coating (process), plastic coating is a broad concept, which targets the raw material wire and various finished nets.
3.Painting: It is the process of applying paint (anti-rust paint), pigment or grease to the surface of the object. Painting is also a broad concept that includes a variety of painting methods. Such as spray paint, baking varnish, dyed paint, enamel paint, enamel paint, hand paint and other process types.
